Trade Servicing Missions
Developing and maintaining close personal relationships is key to effective promotion of US flue-cured. We regularly meet with our partners abroad to share information, provide updates, and to make sure their needs are being met. Personal meetings are conducted to adequately assess new market development opportunities for US growers. We attend and participate in trade shows, tobacco forums, industry trade missions, and other worldwide industry events to gather and disseminate information, establish new contacts, renew existing relationships, and to keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies. We are proud to have our Board Members participate in many of these missions so our partners and other industry officials have the opportunity to interact directly with US producers.
